The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet has sanctioned the setting up of Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Sandhol, Mandi, HP.

Thakur Mahender Singh, local MLA and minister for Transport in Himachal Pradesh Govt on his visit to Sandhole announced that very soon a new Bus Stand would be constructed here. He was here to lay down the foundation stone of a cemented road to Souhar Chowk Khunddi. The budget of Rs115lakhs has been allocated for the same. On this occasion minister address the public rallies in various villages and listened to the public problems.

July 2009

Chief Minister PK Dhumal inducted Jai Ram and Mahender Singh (Local MLA), both from the Mandi district as cabinet ministers and Satpal Satti, Virender Kanwar and Sukh Ram Chaudhary as chief parliamentary secretaries. Mohinder Singh, has been allocated Transport, Town and Country Planning (TCP), Housing and Urban Development departments and this the second time he is inducted into council of ministers.
